Hexawise privacy policy

Updated: November 3, 2020

Hexawise recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by our users. This policy outlines what we do to protect the security of the personal and business information you entrust to us.

Hexawise doesn’t make money from ads, so we don’t collect data in order to advertise to you. The tracking we do at Hexawise is to make our service work as well as possible.

In order to give you the best possible experience using the service, we collect information from your interactions with our service. Some of this information you actively tell us (such as your email address, which we use to track your account or communicate with you). Other information we collect based on actions you take while using the service, such as what pages you access and your interactions with our features. This information includes records of those interactions, your Internet Protocol address, information about your device (such as device or browser type), and referral information.

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages users access or visit, and information volunteered by the user (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our service and the quality of our service, and is not sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if Hexawise were acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Data storage

We use third party vendors and hosting partners, such as Amazon, to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Hexawise. We maintain server logs and application event streams. Although we own the code, databases, and all rights to the Hexawise application, you retain all rights to your data. By using the Hexawise service, you authorize Hexawise to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States and any other country where we operate.

We help large, global companies modernize and improve how they test software. Adopting modern test design approaches at scale across multiple business units and geographies requires training and change management. In helping our Fortune 500 clients successfully adopt Hexawise, we’ve developed expertise and proven approaches in these areas. Our enterprise success model includes everything you need to succeed in your adoption efforts.

We’ve improved and modernized Hexawise over the years by relentlessly focusing on understanding client needs, anticipating market trends, collaborating with clients and adding capabilities for teams who are pursuing test automation, DevOps and CI/CD. All without sacrificing ease of use.
